About Patrick C. Massa

Patrick Massa grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Springhill College in 1968, and his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Virginia School of Law 1971. He has been married to Trish Massa since 1970. They have three grown children and five grandchildren.

He served in United States Marine Corps from 1971-1974, as a Judge Advocate General (JAG). From 1974 to 1980, he practiced law with the form of Cone, Wagner, Nugent in West Palm Beach. In 1980, he formed the law firm of Easley, Massa & Willits. In 1990, Mr. Massa formed the law firm of Patrick C. Massa, P.A., which has continued up to the present time.

Mr. Massa's practice since 1974 has been primarily as a Civil Trial attorney. He has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Florida Bar since 1983. He has been AV rated by Martindale Hubbell since 1986. He became a Certified Mediator in 1994, and has mediated over 3000 cases.

Mr. Massa has served as President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association in 1988-1989. Mr. Massa is a charter member of the Palm Beach Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He served as President of the Palm Beach Chapter of ABOTA in 1993. He has also served as a member of the National Board of Directors of ABOTA from 1995-2000.

Mr. Massa is often appointed by the Court to serve as Guardian Ad Litem in large settlements involving minors and incapacitated person.
